MS-Graessner presents a further development of bevel gear tooth technology, the new High Ratio Hypoid HRH.

  • 90% higher efficiency than the worm gear
  • Longer life
  • Smoother tooth contact
  • More efficiency and less weight

The HRH is highly efficient and is extremely durable. The longer lifetime is achieved by a more gentle gear mesh. Hypoid bevel gears are similar to spiral bevel gears but the drive pinion is offset hence a larger pinion diameter. The new High Ratio Hypoid has milled tooth quality ≤ 7 and ground tooth quality ≤ 5.

Until now, to achieve high ratios a multistage bevel gear is required with a large space and a higher weight. HRH the other hand, can be used in small spaces and has lower mass.

MS Graessner has manufactured Bevel toothed gearboxes since 1955, and has a wealth of experience in the field of pioneering bevel gear tooth technology.

In the 1970s Graessner began the development and manufacture of complete bevel gears. In the following decade it focused increasingly on the customer and custom gear box designs. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 14001 and provides customers with its own repair service.
