Drive Lines Technologies Ltd. has been appointed as the exclusive UK distribution partner to Heynau GPS for its popular range of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) products. Heynau products offer a cost competitive alternative to inverters and servo drives for applications where accuracy isn’t as essential. Drive Lines will be responsible for developing new business in the UK while also supporting existing customers with replacement parts and direct access to Heynau’s service capabilities.
Drive Lines offers the UK market a popular range of power transmission components which span the entire drive train. It offers solutions for applications as diverse as high precision machine tools to heavy industries and supports its component offering with a degree of technical knowledge that many UK distributors simply don’t have.
Ian Carr, Drive Lines Managing Director, explains: “When our business was first set up it was with the vision of creating the highest level of service to our customers. To this end we don’t just source high quality components, we back them up with technical documents, customisation services and an in-house technical support team.”
The Heynau product range now available from Drive Lines includes the Minidrive, Mini Gearmotor and H Drive. The Minidrive and H Drive offer end-users the ability to manually adjust the output speed of the drive, helping to increase torques and control positioning and translating applications. The Mini Gearmotor uses a single speed spur gearbox coupled with ATB motors. These are available with ATEX compliance and can be fitted with a speed indicator for further accuracy.
Ian continues: “We’re excited to add the range to our portfolio. We know that Heynau has a strong customer base in the UK because of the reliability of its components and I’m looking forward to expanding that customer base. As with all of our products we’ll be able to guarantee fast delivery of all orders and we’ll be more than happy to discuss application requirements over the phone or face-to-face to help make sure customers specify the best model for their needs.”
